Xiaomi announced the 14T and 14T Pro for global markets on 26 September 2024. Both carry Leica-branded camera systems, and the Pro uses MediaTek’s top chip of that year, the Dimensity 9300+.
Xiaomi 14T Pro: key specs at launch
- Chip: MediaTek Dimensity 9300+
- Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED, 1220 × 2712, 144Hz, up to 4,000 nits peak
- Rear cameras: 50MP main with OIS, 50MP 2.6x telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, Leica optics
- Battery: 5,000mAh with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging
The standard Xiaomi 14T keeps the Leica-tuned camera branding and design but uses the cheaper Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip and drops wireless charging.
The AI part, in plain words
Xiaomi’s AI features on the 14T series are mostly camera and editing tools: AI-assisted night and portrait processing, generative photo expansion and object removal in the gallery, plus Google’s Gemini and Circle to Search as Android-level assistants. They are useful, but not unique to Xiaomi.

Who it suits
The 14T Pro made sense for buyers who wanted flagship-class speed and very fast charging below flagship prices. As an older model, it is only worth buying at a discount, and you should confirm how many Android and security updates it has left.
