Editor’s note: This article was rewritten in October 2026. An earlier version said global availability was unannounced. The series reached Europe on 12 June 2024.

Honor launched the Honor 200 and 200 Pro in China in May 2024, then announced them for Europe at a Paris event on 12 June 2024. The series is built around portrait photography, tuned with the Paris portrait studio Studio Harcourt.

Key specs at launch

  • Honor 200 chip: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3
  • Honor 200 Pro cameras: 50MP f/1.9 main, 50MP f/2.4 telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, 50MP selfie
  • Battery: 5,200mAh on both; the Pro adds 100W wired and 66W wireless charging
  • European prices: Honor 200 from £499 / €599, Honor 200 Pro from £699 / €799

The AI part, in plain words

Honor’s AI work here is mostly in the camera: portrait processing that mimics Studio Harcourt’s lighting style, background blur, and AI-based object removal in the gallery. The software also manages battery use based on how you use your apps.

Who they suit

The 200 series suits people who mainly photograph people. The Pro’s telephoto lens and wireless charging justify its higher price if portraits matter to you; otherwise the standard 200 covers most needs.
