AI EPICVERSE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

AI Epicverse (aiepicverse.com) is an independent publication about artificial intelligence, AI tools and consumer technology, run by Rehan Faizal. This page explains what information the site collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you simply read the site

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. Like every web server, our host keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept by our hosting provider and are not used to identify you.

Comments

If you leave a comment we store the name, email address and website you enter, plus your IP address and browser user agent. Comments are checked by Akismet, an anti-spam service from Automattic, which receives the comment and that technical data to decide whether it is spam (Automattic privacy policy). An anonymised hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to show your profile picture.

Reviews and forms

If you submit a review, a newsletter sign-up or a contact form, we store what you type into it (for example your name, email address and message) so we can publish the review, send you the newsletter you asked for, or reply to you. Newsletter emails are sent through Hostinger Reach, our email provider. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

Embedded content

Some articles include embedded videos, mainly from YouTube. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other site, and that site may set cookies and collect data about you under its own policy (Google privacy policy).

Cookies

  • Comment cookies: if you choose to, your name, email and website are saved for one year so you do not have to type them again.
  • Login cookies: only for site editors who log in.
  • Cache: our caching system (LiteSpeed) may set a technical cookie to serve pages faster. It does not identify you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Search engines

We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search. It reports search data that Google already has (such as which queries show our pages) and does not add any tracking to the pages you read.

How long we keep data

Comments and their metadata are kept as long as the comment is published. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the services named on this page (our hosting provider Hostinger, Akismet, and Hostinger Reach for newsletters) so they can do the job described, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, including comments and newsletter subscriptions. Use the details on our Contact page.

Changes to this policy

If we add new services, for example advertising or analytics, we will update this page before they go live and change the date at the top.
